Farm and Forest Programs

We are excited to announce our second year of outdoor farm and forest programming, available four days a week, with a unique focus on learning farm skills, collaboration, communication, literacy and STEAM.
 

These immersive outdoor experiences will not only foster a love for nature and learning but also develop crucial skills for their future success.

 

Each day we will spend 2-3 hours outdoors, and 2-3 hours indoors completing a variety of learning tasks such as:

* farming- planting, harvesting, weeding, watering, animals on the farm- life and care

*animal research and presentation

* homesteading- cooking, baking, preserving, candle making

*beekeeping

*local and native plant species

*plant and tree identification

*living things and cycles

*crafting and creating with natural materials

*exploring and hiking

*listening

*collaboration

*nature journalling

*sit spots

*playing and exploring with a variety of materials

*steam (science, technology, engineering, arts, math)

*student interests

*outdoor games

Program Fees for Fall 2024
